Back in Alicante!

Greetings from the sunny and warm Spain...NOT. Even if the weather is not the most optimal, the terrains and the travel companions are. Unfortunately today I couldn’t join them, because yesterday’s intensive training made me feel sick (and now it’s time to take responsibility for these media obligations. See more on Terä site).

We arrived late on Tuesday and the first training (official one, by o-travel and Per) took place in Cieza, on a hilly and soft grounded course. Legs felt heavy (maybe indicated that I’m going to be sick) but technically training was very nice. In the evening we adjusted ourselves to the coastal terrains with short night-o session. On Thursday morning I had planned a double training near Marjal: JWOC 2002 D20 short distance final course + sprint in Parque Reina Sofia. I and Juha had 17.11 and 17.18 on that 3,75km, making the o-speed pretty high (4.35min/km). The sprint was quite nice as well, even if the map is from a different terrain nowadays ;-).

Two more things: I’m testing Polar’s newest model (Polar RS800CX ....... Edition) at the moment and it’s seems to be a nice tool with a handsome outlook. During this spring my homepages will be updated completely by Pasi Lehtimäki and Oriento Solutions.

I’ll send some news from here, when I get better. Train well my fellows!

***22.2 I added some maps from the trainings here. I managed to make a solid performance in the training-camp champs and won the race!
